Section 1: General / Universal Guidelines
1. Be respectful. Hate speech, racism, and toxicity are not tolerated. Also refrain from speaking about alcohol/ drugs/ abuse/ personal matters and/ or other potentially dangerous topics Do not say or do anything that could offend or make anyone uncomfortable. 2. Pornography and NSFW content is strictly prohibited. We have Minors in this community and as such all content should be PG-13 3. Do not spam memes, ASCII, or anything else. 4. Any form of impersonation is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to Names, nicknames, profile pictures, and speech as well as minimodding. 5. Stick to readable and appropriate names and nicknames. They will be changed otherwise. This also means keeping them clean and unique, and not similar to any of our staff. You will be asked to change it first, followed by a kick. 6. Do not promote or encourage any form of cheating or hacking. 7. If our staff asks you to do something, you should do it immediately. This applies to the community as a whole. 8. We reserve the right to enforce unstated rules. This means that we can enforce a rule even if it is not listed here. 9. Rules are subject to change with or without warning. 10. Advertising is prohibited in all of our platforms- Website, Discord, and anywhere else including in direct messages- without express written permission from the Owner of Phoenix Gaming 11. This is an international community, but English is our primary language and should be used when able to do so. 12. Do not ask for or share PII (Personally Identifying Information) of any kind in public areas. This includes but is not limited to: IP, address, phone numbers, full names, etc. 13. As of 11/01/2025 all new members to the community must be at least 16 years of age. 14. TOS. You must abide by the terms of service of all platforms we utilize (discord, roblox, etc)
Section 2: Discord Specific Guidelines
1. Be mindful of channels and their uses! Every channel on our discord has a specific purpose. Only use them as intended. 2. Do not ping our admins/ owners unless it is absolutely necessary; you may ping moderators if they are online/ actively engaging in chat. Otherwise please DM a moderator or admin for help and they will assist you when they are able to. 3. The Discord server is English only except when used in moderation. It is not guaranteed that we, the staff, or any of the members will be able to understand/ translate/ communicate in your primary/ given language. All staff members speak English. 4. If you or a member of a partnered/ affiliated/ endorsed server violates the rules of discord or this community, then said member will be subject to disciplinary action(s) as outlined by these guidelines; whether it originated in Phoenix Gaming or the partnered organization. (See S1.12, S1.13) 5. Automatic moderation is set up via discord bots and server settings. We will not undo any actions made by the automod unless we deem it to be an unnecessary action.
Section 3: Social Media Agreement
1. Phoenix Gaming often records events and other videos to be posted on our YouTube channel. By continuing to use our Discord, website, or other services including but not limited to our social medias, you agree and give consent to us, Phoenix Gaming, to use your voice, video, and/ or other affects of your person to post on our YouTube and social medias. You also agree and consent to disclose to us your name, age, E-Mail, and/ or other personally identifying information upon request for crediting or other reasons. Phoenix Gaming is not responsible for anyone you choose to disclose any personal information to should you choose to disclose your information to other people, whether they are members or not. Likewise, we will not be responsible for any leaks or misuse of your personal information due to people you choose to disclose said information to. 2. Our YouTube and social medias are not necessarily aimed towards adults. That said, we have to restrict some kinds of content that might be too mature for our younger audiences. This includes but is not limited to: explicit videos, images, or language. Our channel and community as a whole is designed to be PG-13. - We reserve the right to prohibit you from attending events and/or appearing on our YouTube and social medias for any reason. - Failure to follow the guidelines will result in your temporary or permanent ban from attending events and/or appearing on our social medias.
Section 4: DMCA / Copyright
Digital Millennium Copyright Act: Is part of US Copyright Law. It addresses penalties for copyright infringement found on the Internet. This act protects content creators by "establishing procedures for proper notification" to OSPs when copyright infringement is identified online. Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act (OCILLA), Title II is part of the DMCA as Section 512 to the Copyright Act and creates a conditional safe harbour to liability for copyright infringement by online service providers. These procedures allow proper DMCA Takedown Notices to be filed by the owner of this website or DMCA.com, as their designated agent, to an OSP in case infringed material has been detected on their servers. 1. All DMCA / Copyright Violations will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law. 2. Users found in a violation of DMCA / Copyright will be immediately banned. 3. Users banned for knowingly committing DMCA / Copyright violation will be denied any and all appeals.
Section 5: Legal
Phoenix Gaming as a company is based in the United States and holds its users/members to United States law. This means that we as a company will abide by the US Code for legal matters. By participating in our events and/ or using our Website, Discord server, or any other platforms, you agree to abide by the rules and guidelines of this community as well as Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. 1. Person(s) under the age of 13 are not permitted to join Phoenix Gaming under any circumstance. 2. Whilst being a member or user of the community or its platforms, harassment, bullying, threats, doxxing, etc will not be tolerated. These actions are illegal under 18 U.S. Code § 2261A and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 3. Sexualization of a minor in any way shape or form is illegal under 18 U.S. Code § 2251 and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. 4. Phoenix Gaming will not be responsible if you fail to read these rules and guidelines.
